Elite Email was honored with the Business of the Year Award in the "Under 30" category at the Toronto Business Excellence Awards. President and CEO, Robert Burko,29, started the company in his parent's basement while still in high school and has now grown the organization to be Canada's leading email marketing solution with employees spread out internationally and customers in every corner of the world.
"This is an amazing honour and I'm so proud of the entire Elite Email Team," says Burko, who accepted the award at the gala on November 9th. "We've come a long way from a one-man operation 8 years ago to being one of the premier cloud-based email marketing solutions in the world. This award just further solidifies that if you work hard and surround yourself with a team that is passionate about what you do, then the sky is the limit."
The Business Excellence Awards are organized by the Toronto Board of Trade. The awards recognize members of the community who have demonstrated outstanding growth, leadership and innovation in business. The "Under 30" category specifically focuses on young entrepreneurs who have achieved professional accomplishments in addition to their overall contribution to society.
