Give the Gift of Aloha!

Looking for last minute gift ideas?! Please consider a gift to HCI in honor of a family member or friend. No gift wrapping, no shopping malls - just call our office at (808) 250-5799 or donate online at www.hawaiicanines.com/pages/donate.php.  We'll send the recipient a card notifying them of your gift in their name and you'll receive a tax deductible donation. Best of all, you will both be helping someone with a disability to receive the gift of independence.

2011 has been an exciting year at Hawaii Canines for Independence. Thanks to wonderful community support, we have been able to expand our services and touch more lives. The most rewarding part of our mission is seeing how people's lives change for the better after receiving an Assistance Dog from HCI. Thanks to your support, our graduates receive their Assistance Dogs and lifetime follow up support free of charge.

  • $50 - Provides food, Heartguard and Frontline for a puppy in training for one month
  • $100 - Provides puppy coats, leashes, collars, dog beds, and ID medallions for a Service Dog puppy
  • $500 - Helps provide vaccinations, hip & elbow x-rays, & eye exams for a puppy in training
  • $1,000 - Helps purchase a top quality Labrador or Golden Retriever puppy from a qualified breeding program

As we look forward to 2012, we plan to continue our mission of helping dogs to help people in need.
