Puppy Love Benefit Event
Mahalo to all of our dedicated volunteers, generous supporters, and over 200 guests who made our 8th annual "Puppy Love" Valentine's Benefit at the Grand Wailea Resort such a big success. Our inspiring graduate teams and puppies in training stole the hearts of many, as those in attendance learned about the many ways that dogs can help people in need. Over $200,000 was raised to help us continue providing professionally trained Assistance Dogs and lifetime follow-up support free of charge. Mahalo for all of the support!
Courthouse Dog Marshal
Congratulations to Marshal, who graduated from ADH in December and has already made a big impact at the Family Justice Center in Thurston County! Led by handler Kim Carroll and caretaker Wendy Ireland, Marshal has been helping to support children who are victims of crime through the difficult legal process. Marshal has become quite the celebrity and even has his own Facebook page, where his daily duties and activities are shared with all. For more information on Marshal, check out this featured article in the Seattle Times!

Welcome New Heroes in Training!
We would like to introduce the newest members of the ADH Ohana, who were born on February 11th! The puppies' proud Mom and Dad are Maggie and Tag, and we are delighted to announce that all seven puppies are happy and healthy! These puppies represent the next generation of ADH Heroes in Training. We are looking forward to seeing them grow up and reach their full potentials! Check out our Facebook page for updates on the new puppies.
Community Outreach: The Puppy Whisperer
This month we would like to recognize a very special member of the ADH family, Chase Kishi. Chase has been volunteering at Sadie's Place as part of our Workplace Readiness Program for the past 2 1/2 years! Chase is a huge asset to our organization, and helps out by cleaning the facility and grooming the puppies in training. Chase is a Junior at King Kekaulike High School. All of our staff, volunteers, and puppies appreciate Chase's smiling face and can-do attitude. Mahalo for your service Chase!:)
Puppy of the Month - Vida
Vida is a 9 month old Golden Retriever, and is the sister of our January "Puppy of the Month", Cooper. While Vida may be smaller than her brother, her lively and energetic personality makes her larger than life. Vida has an incredibly happy and sweet nature. Vida loves the water, and enjoys going to the beach. This month she went on field trips to the mall and the doctor's office. Vida has graduated from Kindergarten Puppy Training, and is now enrolled in Basic Training. Congratulations Vida!
