Dear Friend,
My wife and I are spending the holidays in Denmark with our Danish family and friends. We are having a great time and hit the keys on our computers from time to time. I had looked forward to work out with my “local” kettlebells, but a sore back has forced me to stay with yoga and mobility drills. Today, my wife forced me to take the day completely off. She is most often smarter than me and I agreed (unwillingly). My new book “Flexible Periodization” has begun it’s creation and today's article includes sections from the initial chapters. It’s a little theoretical, but lets you in on the thinking process behind the model as well as provide a few powerful questions that may benefit you if you are a trainer. How you think as a trainer is a huge determinant of your abilities. Sadly, this aspect is often overlooked by many trainers. A special feature of Flexible Periodization is that it will explain how to periodize a training program regardless of an individual's activity level. Essentially, the information will benefit athletes as well as fitness enthusiasts. I would love to hear about your experiences and biggest challenges in creating periodized training programs. karsten@yestostrength.com Read the article by clicking here. Committed to your success,
