Why You're Receiving This
As a member of my LinkedIn, extended professional or personal network, I'm pleased to include you in this first edition of my company newsletter. I respect your time, privacy and Inbox (I know how quickly mine fills up) and so it is my hope that you find something of value, if not for yourself, than for someone you know.
Please do not think that you need to unsubscribe (which you always have the option of doing) because you don't know me that well, because you are not single, or because you are single but not looking to change that. There are several initiatives underway that may be of interest to you, or someone you know, and I will often be seeking feedback from both married and single people.
I look forward to continuing to communicate and network with you!
Introducing The "Dating School"
I am excited to announce my partnership with Andrew Shaul Psychology Professional Corporation (www.shaulpsychology.ca) in the creation of a “Dating School”.
The temporarily named “Dating School” will offer interactive workshops in informal learning environments that focus on various issues and challenges affecting daters. It will combine my practical, real-world experience dealing with daters on a daily basis as well as my 15+ years of coporate leadership experience with registered clinical psychologist, Dr. Andrew Shaul’s 20+ years of counselling and assessment experience.
The Dating School’s courses will help single daters overcome challenges and barriers preventing them from developing lasting relationships by providing them with the tools, strategies and insights to do so.
Please stay tuned for more information as the school sets to launch in late September/early October. For more information, please e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.

This first year, although not quite over, has been an exciting one for Sitting In A Tree Inc. I am proud of everything we've been able to accomplish in such a short period time. Much of that is attributable to my network. The support, encouragement, referrals and genuine interest I have received has been inspiring and I am immensely grateful. Thank you!
Before Sitting In A Tree Inc. launched, I auditioned - on a whim - to be the Dating and Relationship expert on The Marilyn Denis Show (as many of you know). It was an exciting ride to the finals, where I was one of three "Wild Card" contestants. You can read more about my experience here: http://www.sittinginatree.com/2010/12/dream-a-little-drea/#more-59. I was consistently amazed by the number of people who voted for me and was deeply touched by how far my network extended. It was truly rewarding to see how contagious the enthusiasm was. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to those of you who were involved in one way or another. It was you, and not the prospect of being on the show, that made the journey so memorable.
