On Sunday January 20, 2008 the Philadelphia Metropolitan Board of Realtist,  held the installation of its 30^th President, Candis J. Pressley-Blackwood,  at the Hyatt Regency at Penns Landing, 201 S. Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia Pa. The keynote speaker was Carl R. Greene, Executive Director of the Philadelphia Housing Authority. Scholarships were awarded to Semaria Green of Gratz High School and Chimere Washington of Roxborough High School.

Mrs. Blackwood’s theme for her Administration is “Rejuvenation through Education”. Her goal is to motivate Realtists and provide the much-needed information to thrive, not just survive in this tumultuous market. During her term Mrs. Blackwood plans to continue with the National Mission to “Serve the un-served” in the City of Brotherly Love
