Mayor's Inspire Burlington Speaker Series
Dr. David Mowat on "Health and the Built Environment"
The Official Plan Review team is pleased to be collaborating with the Mayor's Office to present the upcoming Inspire Burlington event featuring Dr. David Mowat, the Medical Officer of Health for the Region of Peel. In his role, Dr. Mowat is responsible for protecting and promoting the health of the 1.3 million residents of Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga. Dr. Mowat will share his thoughts on the connection between public health and urban planning. Initiatives in the Region of Halton will also be highlighted.

The Official Plan Review Process
The city's Official Plan Review is currently in Phase 2, "Conversations and Analysis". In this phase, we are engaging on the collective vision for the city; gaining a deeper understanding of issues through discussion and research; and identifying emerging directions for policy development.
