Burlington's Official Plan Review: Mount Nemo Public Consultation and Transportation Master Plan Staff Report Available

Mount Nemo Public Consultation Meeting

The City of Burlington is hosting a second public consultation meeting for the Mount Nemo Heritage Landscape Study.

Come join us for this public consultation opportunity where we will continue the discussion about the Mount Nemo Heritage Landscape, including the history, the process and the results of the Preliminary Study.

Staff have prepared a report titled Official Plan Review: Mount Nemo Public Consultation and Next Steps (PB-38-14). The report contains a number of recommendations and a summary of the Public Consultation event held on February 10th, 2014 at Kilbride Public School.  The report is available online at www.burlington.ca/mountnemo or by clicking here.

Important: Please note that the committee meeting at which this report will be discussed has yet to be determined. Further notice will be provided once the committee meeting date is confirmed.

Transportation Master Plan Staff Report Available for April 14th Development & Infrastructure Committee

The Transportation Master Plan and the Official Plan Review are working together to help us make smart decisions about land use, transportation and public transit to support the development of a complete community.

The Transportation Master Plan has completed its first round of public engagement which has included gathering information from the public, stakeholders, technical agencies and others.

Staff have prepared a report that captures the public engagement results to date, input from internal departments, possible challenges moving forward and the project "road map" for the remainder of the year.

The report is now available and will be considered by the Development and Infrastructure Committee on Monday, April 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., Council Chambers, second level, Burlington City Hall.  Click here to access the staff report and its appendices or view the D&I agenda for April 14th here, see item 7.
