Council Workshop on Mobility Hubs

A Council workshop has been scheduled on Monday, June 16 in the afternoon, to discuss the final Mobility Hubs Opportunities and Constraints Study (May 2014) prepared by Brook McIlroy. The discussion with Council, staff internal review, and consultation with the public, agencies, stakeholders and interdepartmental review in the coming months will inform the development of draft mobility hub policy directions for the Official Plan.

City Hall - Room 247

*Note: The workshop will be held as part of the Development and Infrastructure Committee Meeting and is targeted to commence at 2 pm. After addressing regular business items, Council will move to Room 247, where the Council Workshop on Mobility Hubs will be held.  No delegations will be registered and only staff directions and motions to receive and file will be permitted.

Upcoming Council Workshop

The Mobility Hubs discussion is part of a series of Council workshops on city-wide studies undertaken as part of the Official Plan Review.  An Employment Lands discussion was held on May 6.  Stay tuned for more information regarding the upcoming Council workshop on the Commercial Strategy Study (July 7).  For more information regarding these workshops, please refer to the respective Study Pages on the Official Plan Review website or click here.


Mount Nemo Plateau Heritage Conservation District Study

On May 20, 2014, Council approved the start of a heritage conservation district study process for the Mount Nemo Plateau. Staff will be conducting a Request for Proposal process this summer to determine the consultant(s) who will be leading the study. Visit the Mount Nemo Plateau project page for updates on the Request for Proposal process, study commencement and public consultation opportunities.
