If You Add It, They Will Come
The movie Field of Dreams was pretty accurate when it said "If you build it, they will come". Truth be told, the best way to build your mailing is to make it easy for your site visitors to join it. With just a little copying and pasting, you can add an email signup box to your website. This allows your visitors to enter their email addresses and instantly add themselves to your mailing list.
Your sign-up box will automatically connect to your online Subscription Center (customized to your company, and fully hosted by Eliteweb). Your Subscription Center is where subscribers can enter their information, choose what interest groups to belong to, and more.
You'll need a special HTML code to add a signup box to your website. To get that code, just click on "Special Features" in the Subscriber List Management section (top left of the homepage). There are several pre-built templates available, but if you don’t see one you like, just email your Account Executive and get one custom-built to match your site.
We can't emphasize enough just how important this signup box is to your overall list building strategy. Remember, build it, and they will come.
